Cisco Ceasing Development of Load-Balancer Products

Cisco, in an apparent concession to its Application Delivery Networks (ADN) competitors, has confirmed it will end development of its Application Control Engine (ACE) load-balancer products (Source:  CRN, 09/17/12).

So, what does this mean to you?  If you’re currently using ACE, you can trade in this soon to be discontinued equipment for Citrix NetScaler.  If you’re in the market for a load balancer, Citrix NetScaler is the way to go.  As an undisputed leader of service and application delivery, Citrix’s NetScaler solutions are deployed in thousands of networks around the globe to optimize, secure, and control the delivery of all enterprise and cloud services.  In an independent ADC study conducted by EMA on Customer Satisfaction of ADC vendors, EMA found that Citrix NetScaler emerged as the clear leader over F5 Networks and Cisco Systems – scoring highest in 16 of 21 categories (see EMA Customer Satisfaction Survey).

Through 12/31/12, IntraSystems will give you a 25% discount off of NetScaler list price as a trade-in credit.  Take advantage of this exciting offer if you have Cisco ACE that will soon be discontinued.  Please Contact Us  or send us an emai at sales@intrasystems.com to learn more.
